Even though the screen said Toyota?
Also, is there a real TomTom in it?

Anyone, including chinese manufacturers, can download an unlicensed toyota logo from google images.

This does not come with GPS maps built in, in order to use the GPS you have to buy a GPS map MMC(sd) card. I believe that it accepts TomTom, Navteq, and Garmin cards, but you also have to have a gps antenna installed. Even still, just because it accepts TomTom maps does not mean it will have all the same functionality as a regular TomTom nav unit.

The reason I bought this is because I need a basic built in head unit with GPS, and I HATE the way some of the typical double din head units look in our car, it sticks out and it doesn't quite fit and I think it looks absolutely horrible and cheap. At least this way, I will have what I need for now until I can custom develop my own carputer!!!

I look forward to your review. I am considering one of these myself for the very same reasons.

That's the Eclipse AVN2210P. There's a new version of it already (the Eclipse AVN4430) with a removable wide-screen unit.
