Oil Cooler

Hi guys!

I'm new here :) I joined the forum because I need your advise. I got a Toyota Vitz RS Turbo 2004. For reasons that I don't wanna mention I lost (somebody else actually did it) the oil cooler, the part that is between the oil filter and the engine, I was not able to find a photo of that part and I'm trying to figure out how to replace it. This car has 1NZ-FE motor series. What do you suggest in order to get a replacement? I attached a photo where cooler is located.

It is the oil filter that go in there. I hope you didn't drive your car after this happened.

I think it is the threaded part that your are looking for.

This maybe what you are talking about

But your will still need to buy the oil filter union because you are still missing that part.

I was so happy when I read this thread that I went out and bought a set of hex heads so I could have a 12mm thinking this would be an end to my agony. The 12mm hex head does not fit in my oil filter union.... :*(

And now everything is closed.
