2007 1.0 3 cylinder
Hi All
i appologies if i am posting this question in the incorrect thread . i have a yaris which is making a strange noise ,it sounds like it is comming from the top end of the motor .There car still seems to run normally ie no loss in power or increase in fuel useage,i have attached a clip of what it sounds like https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxR...ew?usp=sharing Any Thoughts will be appreciated |

Pretty sure that's bearing or wrist pin. Time for a new engine.

Really doesn't sound good dude. Sounds like somethings seriously wrong in the engine. Bearing damage would be my first thought or maybe lack of oil pressure.
Drive it till it blows up and put a used engine in it. I've seen decent used 1KR engines out of Aygos or 107's selling for £300. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
