Modified or aftermarket armrest for more comfort

Hey, This is my first post on this forum. I just bought a 07 yaris sedan S today. I got it for commuting for the good gas mileage.

I wanted to know if anyone makes a better armrest over the stock one. Or if there is anything I can to do modify mine for more comfort. What I would like is for it to be up slightly higher and a little more towards the front of the car. The factory one is so far back I can barely catch it with my elbow from where I have my seat adjusted. I have a very long drive to work everyday and Id love to make the car as comfortable as possible for me.

Please note this is for a sedan not a hatchback

Just a comment. I find mine is fine for me, but it is VERY loose and not much of a support. Not sure if yours is this way also? Sounds like you might have to do something custom, everyone is different when it comes to comfort and doing it yourself will probaly come out with something that you will enjoy more then something off of a shelf.

Yeah I have my seat pretty far forward because my other cars are sporty and just got used to sitting close. not to mention im only 5'9" Id rather find something aftermarket before I attempt to mess with mine.

OT: edison NJ is a town away from me. small world.

i finally got one and i find it very tall. and kinda awkward when shifting. however i like the way it looks. now if you get brave and do something custom keep us informed as we may want to do it as well. thanks and welcome to YaRiSWoRlD!
