My 7 month old Yaris was in a minor accident!

I was driving in the right hand lane on Saturday and a guy changed lanes right into me! The front is damaged. At first I couldn't get the driver's door open and the plastic liner was sticking out. We took it to Toyota to make sure it was safe to drive. The guy moved some metal around and the door now opens. We had a quote for $1900.00 in repairs.
Glad no one was hurt...its just a nuisance at this time of the year.

I want to upload a picture but I don't know how?!?!

Welcome to the club! My Yaris got rear-ended when it was less than 2 months old. Mine was about $5k in repairs. Glad to see no one was hurt. Nobody ever seems to get hurt in their Yaris :) http://gas2.org/2008/10/21/are-tiny-...omment-page-3/

It's always sad to learn about Yaris accidents. I even cringe a little when watching a Yaris IIHS crash test.

What matters is that you're okay

I backed into a car once, and it cost $1,700 to repair his carbon fiber bumper and hood. Damage to my Yaris? A 1" scratch, and it isn't even noticeable. I think I just got screwed by my insurance agancy when it all comes down to it. Screw Esurance! Sorry to hear about your accident.
