Rear view camera wiring issue
Hey guys,
So i tried wiring up my reverse camera based on the guides in this forum. I have already spliced into the reverse light cable. Current is definitely coming out of the crimp connector confirmed with a current tester. I have wired up the video cable and also the power cable to under the dash to get 12V - according to CT scott's recommendation, I wired the positive cable to connector 4b pin 22 and negative cable to a bare metal on the chassis. Im sure everything is hooked up correctly but it is still not working. One thing i have tried is directly placing the positive and negative wires of the power cable to the cigarettee port (externally) and lo behold it does work. Really not sure what to do or where i went wrong Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? |

The Way I did:
I connected the camera's positive and negative to the backup light bulb. The yellow cable to the monitor. The monitor's positive and negative to the backup light bulb as well. ->Done When I shift to "R" , the backup camera turn on! |
