Screwing it to the box would definitely be the easiest option
There is also plenty of space under the passenger seat. |

There's a lot of room under the passenger seat. I installed my 21" long 4 channel amp under there. If you install it on the box, you'll need to run some pretty large gauge wire all the way back from the battery. Under the set would be a much shorter run, and you could use smaller gauge wire.

4 E10 torx head bolts. Slide seat forward to reveal 2 in the rear of sliders, slide seat back to reveal 2 in the front of sliders.

Keep the ground as short as possible. Remember to fuse the amp within 18" of the battery as well.
Also, before you turn on the amplifier turn the gain all the way down...just in case you have any Voltage spikes when turning it on. Take a look at the options for the amplifier's crossover section to make sure you've dialed everything as well as possible before you turn it on.

^ This is how TOLMACH did.. small pod, covered by the automotive carpet. blue wire is ground, positive is well protected.. crappy interconnects are for subwoofer amp - look like garbage but do the job
i then changed the seats, hence had to move the second amp to the other side front amp interconnects are on the other side (self-made) |

I like that they say their gauge 4 is real gauge 4 (25 mm2) Cheaper stuff will also do the job http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Gauge-Amp-...item19e59d8f2c |
