Ever get this message?
"Unable to enter the order because your account is restricted to closing transactions." Never got that before with any of my previous transactions. |

You have to call their customer service line. It means that there is some kind of issue with your account.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to do that on the morrow. I was just hoping someone had ran across this problem before.
It's just odd that my Account Balance Summary lists more than enough funds available for the trade, and mentions nothing about any of the funds being restricted. |

I once had a problem with the fund I was trying to buy. The restriction came from a source outside of my control.

It seems I'll need to stop by the branch office and provide some extra info because of new federal laws? ...to make sure I'm not involved in "funding of terrorism and money laundering activities"
