Car cover that helps prevent hail damage?
http://hailblankets.com/index.php
http://www.autoanything.com/car-covers/60A1012A0A0.aspx Anyone used these or similar ones? Do they do any good? I moved to a new apartment with no covered parking. We do get hail here in Texas and... I'd rather not deal with insurance. Suggestions?

The first link indicates it minimizes damage from hail - not prevents it.
The second one doesn't even mention hail. I'd be skeptical of both though this may be a case of something is better than nothing at all. |
