which muffler
I would like to get a sound slightly more aggressive than stock, low end sound, without it sounding like a dirtbike or a fartcannon. Would like to keep stock midpipe for now, since I will change that with headers later on. Needs to be flange ready so I can just bolt it on.

The Medalion Touring was my 2nd mod ever on the Yaris. Best selling exhaust we've ever had, followed at this point by the cost effective Megan.

I have the Medallion Touring; bought it from MicroImage. Nice burble at idle. Can be a little loud at certain speeds (>75MPH) but there are also certain speeds that it just mellows out (somewhere around 68~73MPH). Won't set off alarms in parking garages. Doesn't sound tinny or farty at all.

Unless you are going to cut and weld, there is no cat-back exhaust for the Yaris.
There is a flange at the header, and another at the axle-back section. No other bolt flanges are included. The midpipe has two cats and a resonator. The OBX exhaust is header-back, with cat deletes and their own axle-back included.

^ The Megan is not as warm and deep, sounds pretty good though, a little more growl, but not as sweet a note IMO. Single layer tip as shown. I think the Touring looks nicer and the materials are better.

I just got the Medalion Touring from MicroImage I love the sound of it. If y ou've got the money, go for it! Cost me over $400 with paying Customs to bring it into Canada...but it was worth it.

No problem, the duties would be required regardless of if you shipped it right to my house or I picked it up just on the other side of the border so...not your fault. :)

We have a new midpipe design coming soon, it will mate with the Megan header and axle-back exhaust to make a complete larger exhaust system. Stay tuned...
