195/55/16 Tire Question

Just wondering if anybody has any pictures of their Yaris running 195/55/16 tires?

To make a long story short, after a few rims and tires purchases, I ended up currently, with 205/45/16's on my RS Hatch...they just seem a little too small for my liking (I had 50/16's last year, but sold them and the 45/16's were the tires leftover).

I know that it's listed in the tire guide, so they must fit, but I'm wondering if anybody has 195/55/16's on? And if they like them? Lowering the car isn't an option right now, so having this size tire would be the best alternative for now.

Thanks,
Matt

Excellent thanks!

Did you have those tires on your car before you lowered? I'm just trying to find out which tires would work the best at getting rid of as much wheel gap as possible. If so, did it look "ok" before it was lowered?

Thanks for the help. Your car looks awesome!

Fills out those wheel wells pretty nice.

JTDBT903 what's the drop on those? The front looks a tiny bit higher than mine but the back looks a decent amount lower. I'm on Ksports.

Yes, I had them on before the drop and it looked way better than the stock 185/60/15's. Sorry no pictures though.

This is a picture of my dads car with 195/65/15's. He said he had no issue's with rubbing and he's made several 1800 mile trips loaded down to Florida.

185/60/15=7.28 wide and 23.74 tall
195/55/16=7.67 24.44
195/65/15=7.67 24.98

I think they are made by the same people that make the Megan springs, I can't remember the exact drop right now.

Yes, I hate the way the front looks higher like that! I think Kaotic says that he has a small spacer in the back of his to level it out.

The original post was for people currently running 195/55R16. I can't tell what size your tires are in the second picture, but it looks like maybe 205/50R16? Hence my confusion.

Sorry, I totally spazzed out, meant to put tire size but put rim size. 195/50/16 is the
size of the tires just to show what 5% less height looks like
