How much can you put in your yaris?
When I bought my yaris I chose a liftback because I figured it would be most functional form of vehicle to go camping with. My purpose for this thread is threefold
1) to show off my fantastic packing skills:) 2) to help those lurkers that are searching around to see just how functional the tiny little yaris is. 3) And finally I have heard alot of sedan owners talking about how they have more space than us hatchback owners....so...let me see you do this Now, its not really all that impressive, but I had to pack up pretty much my whole apartment and drive home (just 100miles away today) so of course I wanted to finish up this final weekends load in one trip. so here are the pictures. I think they are hillarious. Also, there is plenty of room in the drivers seat, and i got stuck in a traffic jam on I-26 for an hour and had plenty of room to bring out my laptop and watch some Spongebob. (Note: I had trouble at first with pictures because I had to resize. Also, most of those white bags are clothes and cups/dishes mixed together to prevent fragile stuff from breaking Last edited by BMGYaris; 05-13-2007 at 05:39 PM. |

Great way to use space!
I went took my Yaris to the beach a few months ago... I was able to get about 80% of everyone's luggage and stuff (we were like 12) on the back seat with the rear seats folded. Heck, even a grill got its way in there! Last edited by tk-421; 05-13-2007 at 07:47 PM. |

sure it will all fit in the sedan, you just have to blend it
Blend IT all! in all honesty, i think everything except that hutch you have would fit just due to the dimensions not the volume (post blending of course!) |

hahaha awesome! You just have to send the pics to Toyota for their advertising
Reminds me of moving out with my parent's old station wagon stuffed pretty much like that, though we left a little bit of an opening to see out the rear window...

Thanks guys:) i thought it was hillarious. the hardest part was when I put the desk in I had it at the wrong angle at first. All these people were walking around and it was sticking out like 3 feet. It was real embarressing, until I got it...thought it wouldnt fit for a while:)

I haven't had mine long enough to go on a trip, but like the OP, I'm a madman when it comes to packing. It's like a lifesize Tetris game to me. You shoulda seen this one time I packed a 2dr Ford Escort... How much can YOU fit in your Yaris?
