hmmmm
hello all as crazy as this sounds i might be trading my 07 ex civic coupe for a polar white 3 dr yaris auto. i have a bad knee and my civic is a 5 speed i would trade it at a honda dealer for another honda maybe a fit but a friend of mine has one and doesn't like it crappy gas mileage, and the dealers around here don't want to give me what i want for the civic. i drove a friends yaris last week its a base 3dr i was really impressed

Go for the Yaris... Wife drove the Fit, Civic and the Yaris and the Yaris was the best over all for the value MPG, power(over the fit) and comfort

I do love the new Civics. My ladyfriend drives one and I get to drive it regularly. It is an auto and the throttle is EXTREMELY sensitive, plus I hate the digital speedo, but those are my only two gripes. On the freeway it rides nice and smooth... unlike my TRD-dropped Yaris. Good luck on your search! |

ive got the fit and the gas mileage is great. it does have a small tank though.
she gets better with the yaris but she doesnt have a lead foot. but if i could do it again i think the yaris are sexy lowered and with the right suspension set up and breather mods i think she would be so much fun with a stick. both of ours are auto, i have the paddle shifters though (fit sport) and it helps with not having a manual. but hers is just such a nice ride, the stock suspension has you sitting high almost as high as some suv's if you arent bothered by body roll its smooth besides that. as for power the fit will win in get up, but uphill she dies fast, the yaris wins that battle shes so light that you barely notice the power strain. the biggest thing i dont like about the fit would be size vs power. the biggest problem with the yaris would be the centralized dash. besides that they are both great cars. my best guess would be go yaris. or maybe check out the versa with the cvt i test drove one it was weird but quite nice. good luck with your decision, and im sure that being a honda youll find someone willing to buy it at price.
