Micro Image

Tried to go to the microimageonline web site, and my browser came back saying that the site does not exist. Have they stopped trading?

The website is closed, due to lack of business to support it. They're maintaining an eBay store, but that's it.

In a way I'm not surprized this happened.

For some reason they only ship to the US. I'll bet if they actually accepted international orders, they'd have a lot more business going for them.

Don't get me wrong, I like them, they have good aftermarket products at competitive prices and even answer the phone if you give them a call about something, but the lack of distribution is killing them.

Wrong!!!

They had always accepted and processed international orders. The only thing is the website would only accept U.S. orders. Internationals had to order by phone. The website was quite clear about this. I have a great many Canadian friends who had done business with MI.

It is strictly cost and demand. Many of his parts sits on his shelves for years that never get bought. The yaris is just not that kind of a car that a lot people want to throw large chunks of money at. They want the basics, CAI, Headers, Axle back exhaust, springs and sway bar... Everyone else wants MPG.

I had no problems ordering from them via email. Shipping was always not too outrageous for the size of the items. Remember they are in Cali, so they are shipping across the continent.
For the little I modified my car, I still dealt with them 3 times, twice shipping to Canada for convenience.

Yea, If he can't get you it, I am sure he can point you to a vendor who can.

Just a quick update. As suggested above, I emailed Garm, and now have the fuel rail I was after in my grubby hands Fantastic service, which I believe Garm is famous for

It took me a while to find it, so sharing it here

I recently got a Yaris as a commuter car, so it's sad to see the online community is dying :(
