exhaust drone
Recently joined the forum - really good site and loads of great info!
Bought t-sport 2002 recently and have been working my way through rectifying niggles etc. One such annoyance is the droning from the exhaust from around 2500 to about 3200 rpm. Really very intrusive in the cabin. It looks like the rear heat shield may not be there as the boot carpet and floor area get quite warm too - i've just added a few layers of Damplifier there as the floor is really thin! Just wondering if the two are related? Anyone else had that drone and if so, what did you do to reduce it? Thanks |
