2010 Yaris?
Ok, heres a nice little thread for everyone to discuss.
If you have had your head stuck in a hole this whole year, 2009 was a big year for the Yaris. Well kinda, they redesigned it and added some nice pretty designing inside. The Onyx special edition came out (which wasnt all it was cracked up to be)... Well for 2010, there hasnt been much said or discussed yet, but with the current changes to the Yaris overseas, it took a chat with Tamago and a realization of current models, that the 1nz (1.5L motor) is getting phased from Toyota's lineup. Scion Xa/Xb, Yaris, Prius all had the 1.5L at the same time. Now Toyota has done away with 3 of the 4 platforms that origionally came with the motor. All have been equiped with the 1.8L or 2.4L... Soooo, does this mean that the Yaris is next? I personally think so, I see within the next year, either the 2010 or 2011 Yaris will be equiped with the same 1.8L that the Yaris TS and Scion Xd are equipped with. What you guys think? Logical assumption, or am I crazy?
