September Yaris sales

September was not good to the Yaris.

Sales were down 68% compared to September 2008. That means overall Yaris sales are down 42.4% from 2008.

The Nissan Versa is the best-selling subcompact, followed by the Hyundai Accent, and then the Honda Fit.

Overall sales for 2009
Nissan Versa: 63,757
Hyundai Accent: 55,525
Honda Fit: 55,475
Toyota Yaris: 50,785
MINI (all): 34,996
Chevrolet Aveo: 31,486
Kia Soul: 24,237
Kia Rio: 23,234
Suzuki SX4: 17,265
Nissan Cube: 14,752
Smart (all): 12,421
Scion xD: 11,686
Pontiac G3: 5,190
