ok made a bit of progress , started sound deadening the doors, inside and out, covered all service holes (used that plastic sheeting that real estate agents use for their signs- waterproof and light), another nice surprise was the yaris had cables insted of push rods for the mechanism - easy to seal, although i did go over the wiring - hoping never to hve to access it

I thought long and hard at housing the midbass in custom made kickpanels , but the work needed is a bit beyond what i want to take on at the moment, you see being rhd the accel pedal is hard right against the kickpanel and leaves barely any room.

The door opening is at the lower front, near where the kickpanel is anyway just need to get the axis/angle right with an angled spacer , there is quite a bit of room between the door card and the door metal, although these oz's are a good 3" deep!
