Blower fan question

The other day, my Yaris blowe fan starting making a noise. First it sounded like there was something caught in the fan blades. Later it sounded like the bearings were going with a high pitched whine.

Today, nothing. Perfectly normal and same volume of air that it usually puts out at all 4 speeds.

Has anyone else has this same occurrence and if so, did you ever have to replace the blower motor?

Also, has anyone every replaced the blower motor? Where is it at and how hard is it to get to?

Thanks in advance for our assistance!
