I installed a completely different 2nd gen exhaust on my 2012 with nothing to compare it to so I don't know specifically about your situation. I just know that a 2nd gen exhaust fit a 3rd gen car.

I want to order the Tanabe Touring exhaust, but it appears the exit point could be just slightly more outboard on the 2nd gen. Dunno. I've been looking closely at the pics and read your remarks on fitment. The only concern I have is that the SE/RS rear bumper has the fake splitter at the bottom wheras the L/LE does not.

Any ideas?
