Hey everyone!!!
New here on this site. Been around a few months reading up info posted on the site and i must say it's been a great read. Been away from playing with cars for 18 years now, other things took importance like kids. My youngest are 18 this spring so it's time to scratch that itch and tune up a car and play. My other vehicle at the moment is a 1999 GMC Suburban, a killer on gas but a must to pull my boat, etc... So far my Yaris is stock, haven't touched it "YET"!!! Spring is delayed here this year with still lot's of snow so I took my time shopping for summer wheels/tires. Going with Konig Helium 16 x 7 +40 (Bronze) wheels at 14lbs each. Tires not sure which brand/model but size will be 205/45ZR16. Lowering the car with springs only, no coil overs because it's not necessary if you know the ride height your going for. Me it will be lowered 1.5" (Approx.). Front torsion bar is staying stock, no need to touch it but a rear torsion bar will be added. Also need to do tie-bars. This will be step one, I'll start in two weeks if not later. The snow is incredible this year, still looks like January here. I'll post a few pictures tomorrow of the car as is right now. John |
