2010 Yaris Sedan - TROUBLE W/ TROUBLE CODES
So, last year I am turning left at an intersection and as I straighten out of the turn the Yaris dies. After the tow truck got us home, I began looking for the problem. Being the person that I am, the car never got below 1/4 of a tank of gas. BUT, when I went to check the fuel pump (the hard way), I found the tank bone dry. So, I put a couple of gallons of fuel into it, with the outcome of that being negative. Still nothing.
OBD 2 code reader was displaying eight(8) trouble codes. Now after new fuel pump w/New Sub-plate. And Now NEW Mass Air Flow Sensor, four (4) trouble codes. -P0101 Mass or Volume Air Flow / A circuit range/performance -P0113 Intake Air Temp Sensor 1 circuit high input -P0010 Intake (A) Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit / open Bank 1 -P0171 Bank 1 System Too Lean As I stated, I just put in a NEW Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor. When I took the old one out to inspect/clean/reinstall I found that it looked like someone had put it in front of a propane torch. Is there a procedure for the MAF to re-learn anything? or is it just plug&play? The Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit, is there a way to test this? And Where would the Air Temp Sensor be found? |
