Carfax - thirteen vehicle records?
I entered my '08 hatch's VIN on the Carax site for fun. This car has seen the inside of the dealer's shop once, when I took it in to check on the lower suspension bolts. They checked out OK. I also bought a driver's side axle seal from them, but I put it on. Anyway, the Carfax site said it had 13 "vehicle records" on my car. I tried my '08 Ford and my '13 Hyundai, both of which have never seen a dealership, and they said 11 on the Ford and 12 on the Hyundai.
Has anybody here bought a Carfax for a car? What might these "vehicle records" be on a car that has never seen the inside of a dealership since being purchased? |
