Dragon Cruise

June 23 , 2007

I would like to organize a FAMILY friendly cruise at Deal's Gap Tenn.( www.dealsgap.com ) If you have children under the age of 3 I would NOT recommend bringing them along on the actual cruise . Nothing against children mind you , I have some of my own , I just don't think their little neck muscles could take it . Keep in mind this will NOT be some balls out , white knuckle , OH MY GOD yellin' , tire squealin' , testoterone driven , drive from hell . I was hopin for a nice leisurely , "Oh thats nice Dear " pace . On the flipside , after the cruise later on in the day , if you wanna see what your Yaris will do .......I will be more man than glad to give a first hand demonstration.

If you are smart and/or can afford to do so . I would take June 22 -24 off . Arrive at Fontana Village Resort early Friday . Spend Friday with girlfriend/wife/family doing one or several of the activities that the area has to offer . Horseback riding along Mtn trails , whitewater rafting , hiking , fishing , pottery classes , chillin by the pool and more. Cherokee NC ( 30 min away ) has a ton of stuff for kids like tubing down a calm river , fishing at the trout farm , not to mention all the Native American Shows , also excellent shopping for the ladies . If you got a little Vegas in you , well Cherokee also has a Casino .
The Cruise itself will be on Saturday and will last about 4 hours , RAIN or SHINE .

Fontana Resort Village has many different types of accomodations . Double Queen , Single King , and even Cabins . Prices start at $69 a night . I'll post more info on this later .

If you wanna see what I would like to do ( toned down a little of course ) check out the following link . Click on Videos , then click on either/both HTM Mountain Cruise and HTM Mountain Cruise II . I am NOT renting a helicopter like I did in HTM MTN cruise II to get video footage , but I will bring all my car camera mounts so that we can make a Yaris Dragon Vid .
