Why cut springs when so many options are there now for the Yaris/Vitz/Vios???

Thats kind of common here in indonesia, most of my customer prefer cut spring because it cost only Half of what they have to pay for branded stuff like tein, eibach etc ...

and in indonesia, most of the mods done are for look only, daily driven and hardly tracked.

Precisely! Its kind of the opposite way with the western country where people modified their ride more into engine and performance. In Indonesia people are more into style and audio modification due to the long hours of driving through traffic jam ...

wouldn't you wear out the shocks faster on cut springs? and what about ride quality? i can't imagine the ride to be comfortable while sitting in traffic all the time...

That looks good, but that drop looks the same as the Tanabe springs.

Stock springs have a linear rate. It doesn't hurt anything to trim a bit off of them...as long as it's done correctly.

As for the comfortable part, i was refering to the audio system modification. As for the ride quality of course it will not be as comfortable as the original. |
