Ok, maybe I'm just a dummy, but what's the diff between this and the TRD quick shift kit? Is the TWM one to shorten the height of the stick?? or the shift throw??

the trd shortens throw installed under hood.twm shortens throw and height in cabin both can be used together.

As kou mentioned, the TWM short shifter shortens both the shift knob height as well as the throw due to a re-positioned pivot point on the shifter shaft.
