4" CCFL for rear license plate lighting?

Has anyone ever tried shoving a 4" CCFL in the compartment for the rear license plate light on the LB? Can you shove / fit a 4" CCFL and its inverter in there?

I put a white LED bulb in to replace the stock light bulb and while it's brighter, it's still pretty weak at lighting.

I'm thinking about installing 2 or 3 single LEDs superflux chips. I'm sure you can find a place for the converter for a CCFL though.

I have a 4" CCFL and inverter already. I've got lots laying around from some of my old PCs.

A CCFL would give a more uniform lighting than a bulb / LED.

cold cathode fluorescent lamp.

i think. im tired.
I just moved to ct and youve gotta have front plates.

I was thinking a jdm bracket for it and a few 4" ccfls behind it around the perimeter for some soft lighting.

that would look pretty cool - do it... when you're not tired, of course.
