i'd have to pick GT5 over forza 3 but i have to give the forza creators props for actually releasing a game. seems like i bought GT prologue like 2 years ago and still no GT5. seriously just put the game out already. i'm reading about a scheduled release date of march 2010. lol. i won't be getting my hopes up. more like march 2011 at the rate they seem to be going.

I like believable stuff. And Forza did just that during game conventions and when displaying on show floors...
There is an extra 30 tracks available after punching in the redeemable code when buying a new Forza 3 copy excluding the tracks on disk 1 and 2.... that's plenty enough for me :) |

couldn't you just buy a used copy with the placard in the case also?

I'm reserving judgement on GT5 until I can actually see a full released copy. Until then I'm happy with Forza3.

thread jacked
forza 3 owns gt5 and for one reason only. because i can play forza 3 right now and we still have no fing clue when gt5 hits the shelfs, granted when gt5 comes out i will more than likely buy a ps3 just to play it.
now getting back onto the subject, has anyone else picked up forza 3 yet? if so what cars are you rocking? and yes the Fujimi is the greatest track ever! |

i gotta say that forza has the sounds and interiors right and vehicle specific. gt has always giving all the cars the same generic sound. in forza when you drive from in side the yaris u can turn the hud off and really use the true instruments.

whooppee, what's your standing car at the moment?
Did anyone else feel that the placing of the clutch on the left bumper is hard as hell to work with? And the Yaris almost gets its ass whopped by the Ford RS... I'm working on the Skyline R33 at the moment..not far into it yet~ |

I was just asking because supposedly based on what you buy/own, the calendar varies...Forza said no 2 calendars are the same for the season races... |

I've mostly been working with the Evo X and an NA Miata. I've got the starter Yaris tuned pretty well for FWD events, though.
As for the event calendar every time I've finished an event it's given me a choice of three weekday events and selected which of the weekend championships to start based on my current car's class. That alone would give you a lot of variety.
