TX A&M Autocross
I ran the TAMSCC event #1 this weekend in College Station. It's actually a really nice venue (old Air force base) with a GIGANTIC concrete runway intersection as the autocross area. Fantastic for unusual courses.
I know the Houston division is being held there this summer. You Houston/Austin/SA people really ought to make the drive out there for the next event. they only charge $15!! I managed 2nd in ST, but this was my first event on the coilovers, so I've got some re-learning to do to avoid spinning so much. It really rotates easily now. It's a great surface imo, but man if you hit a hard turn and don't ease off, even our yarii will 180 easy, lol |
