Is there a chip in a key like this one ?

I have a 06 yaris (hb) with an immobilizer built in, but my key looks like this one:
I want to know if there existe an anti-theft chip in this key ? (there is no buttons for open/close doors, can't be opened unless if I cut it using a knife but then it will be no more as before).

The picture is too small to tell. If there is a small round indentation right near where the rubber meets the metal, then the key has the transponder in it.

still can't really tell. My key looked like that and there is no immobilizer in my car. But take a picture of the location CTScott mentioned.

I just looked at my keys and the indent is only on one side, so look at both sides of your key. Here's the other sure way to tell - Look at the ignition switch. If it is all metal, then you don't have an immobilizer. If it is metal with a shiny black plastic right between it and the steering column cover, then you have the immobilizer:

That just requires opening your eyes when you get into the car.

To find out if the key is chipped inside = take it to a car key cutting shop / service and they will have a small detector that looks like a box, this detects if the key is chipped or not.
I had a Mitsubishi pinnin and tried to get a copy key but the guy tried it in the box and said I would have to get one through the main dealer, forgot that idea when they quoted £95.
