Lots of "Lexus" over here... from Hilux pickups to Commuter vans... Once saw a van with a Lexus badge up front and a Scion in the back
I'd say put a Lexus badge ONLY if you do your car PROPERLY as a mini-VIP... re-done interior with electric seats swapped out of a proper Lexus, for instance... Then make a YS150 badge for the back too. But then I'd only see that working on a sedan, not so much a hatchback. And swap a V6 into it too, so it won't be too laughable

LOL. You know what, I plan on going with a VIP-style theme in the future (white pearl paint, still deciding on which manufacturer, leaning towards Lexus or Cadillac), and redoing the interior (window curtain, the works). And just for fun, I was thinking about having a Lexus badge and "IS150" made and run it like that for a month to see what reactions I will get. LOL.

I honestly didn't think I was going to get such a response.
you would have thought I spouted something about religion or politics. honestly I just saw where I could get them on ebay for under $10 each and thought it would be funny. |

yeah that tends to happen here. you post some silly idea and it stirs up alot of opinions. In any case thats exactly what all these are, opinions so if you want to do it then do it! Its your car and nobody can ever say your car looks dumb if you think its not.

Yep, I don't like it because it's not accurate - but if you do - go for it!

It's ur $$ n nobody business. For me, I won't do it .... I even took out all the emblems on my real AMG car ... But hey it's just me ... The cleaner the better

you can't just take the emblems off of the yaris, it leaves a place on the body work. if it were clean, I would just do that....I could take off the yaris logo but the toyta symbol would leave a weird place.

@ BEEF - why dont you use bondo filler (?) to fill in that outline of the rear emblem? A lot of people have taken out their rear wiper and filled/sanded the hole and made it look clean.
Time is all you need to make it look good. Good luck. |

Never thought of that method just seems like a lot of possible mistakes though

I believe that's what most places would do, bondo or fiberglass it. It's a tedious job tho if you want it done right. Prep work, and sanding it down smooth and flowing with the hatch is what's going to take up most of your time.

I saw the skull emblem. I am really thinking about the NETZ emblem. take off the yaris emblem and leave the NETZ one. i do have a bumper protector that has yaris embossed in it though. it would still be different.
I tried body work on my other car and it didn't really go too well. I didn't care because it is my beater but don't want to do it on a new(ish) car. my skills are very lacking. |
