Ooh boy. Way too stiff/low for me. Looks fantastic, and you really set that silver on silver off properly but I couldn't drive that every day. I'd have to raise it up a little and probably go minus 1 on the wheels and rubber bands.
Props for your threshold of patience. -C

I'm a fan of double d's, and this proves to be no exception. I'll agree with Sav it's a little low for me, but man it sure does look cool enough.

oh wow, i love the tire spoiler, not to mention the paint job. I have a feeling someday I'm going to own some sort of Nissan set up to drift.

Custom spring rates courtesy of Micro Image - just for the record.

Depending on the profile size, 195 on an 8 isn't too bad
http://www.tyrestretch.com/8_195_45_R16/ http://www.tyrestretch.com/8_195_55_R16/ Here's 205/40/17 on an 8, just in case you are curious. The smaller side wall makes a big difference. |

195 and 205 will both work great on an 8" (or 8.25" in this case) wheel. Just depends how much mild stretch you want.

gonna get those in gold as soon as they're available.... I'll be getting rid of the faux brembo cover and the bigger disc conversion. Time to get the real front BBK .

To fit these wheels camber stretch and fender trimming is mandatory, just FYI.
The rear sway was a nice improvement and reduced the tail wagging sensation this car has during corners. Raising the spring rates seemed to reduce it more than the sway, but any reduction is a benefit. 195's could fit and depending on the tire brand may stretch more. Falken's typically run small so it may not be much of a difference. I wanted Falken (my preference) and 205/40's because they're so easy to get (also, falken doesn't offer 195 for this model anyway). This is my daily driver so I intentionally kept it mild. I had my fun with the Z (215/35's on 18x10 and 255/35 18x12) |
