Resetting SRS/Airbag system
Well, the Airbag has fired...
I'm going to have to figure out how to replace the bag and re-set the SRS system, has anyone gone through this? Will I need to replace any sensors along with the bag assembly? Mods, please forgive me if this isn't the appropriate forum for posting this query and feel free to move is as you see fit. Dylan |

Here is a thread with instructions on how to read the error codes from the SRS system to know what is bad (besides the obviously popped airbags).
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...d=1#post557473 Once you get the damaged items replaced you will also need to have the crash data reset on the SRS ECU (or replace it), as that data being present causes the airbag light to stay lit, even after you have replaced the bad parts and reset the codes. I do the crash data reset on the Yaris and many other vehicles and do so for $50, which includes the return shipping within the US.
