Hello Kabayan!

I found this forum while searching for Toyota Yaris! Really glad to find you! I am expecting to collect my 2010 Yaris YX this week from the casa. Tanong ko lang! Anu-ano pa ang mga dapat checkin or mga dapat gawin pag kukuha ng bagong koche fresh from the casa?

I should have done or should I say bought a Toyota in the past. Give up na ako sa mahal ng pyesa ng Renault Laguna ko. Problema ko ang ac! Hindi ko pinagawa ang ac dahil pinangdown ko na lang sa bagong Yaris ang supposedly pang repair ko. Walang problema ang Renault Laguna ko, engine wise and transmission wise. Its the ac that kills me and the price of spare parts and repair. Am planning to renew the MVPI and sell it @ SR.6k just to get rid of it and focus on my new baby.

Trust na this forum will be supportive of me should I have any Yaris problem.

i'm not sure kung ano pa kailangan i check, bukod sa warranty card, linawin kung ano ano ang covered ng warranty, at ung mga accessories na kasama sa package,

@zsazsa, welcome sa Yarisworld. It's good you've found the site. Madami ka makukuha idea dito just in case you want to modify or thought of making some changes on your Yaris. It's a good move that you switch to it against the Renault.

When me and my wife went to casa to get the Yaris, the people there will let you check the car first before you drive all the way in. Also, they will put enough gas para sure na hindi titirik ang Yaris mo sa daan. Not knowing na the Toyota crew will be at your back just in case may hindi magandang mangyari.
But I suggest to check around of it maybe there are dents or scratches sa paints. Pero bihira naman mangyari 'to. In our case, we only puchased the Basic Sedan or the regular package, kaya wala na masyado ichecheck.
As for the YX, may mga built-in accessories na like the Fog lights, spoiler, power window, etc. so yun dapat ang mga icheck mo kung gumagana nga, baka kasi may mga electrical problems na kailangan makita nila.

Well, for now eto pa lang naiisip ko na pwede mong i-consider before you drive that Yaris. Feel free to ask, lalo na dito sa sub-forum (Middle East) and I'm sure may makaksagot din sa mga inquiries mo. Goodluck on you new baby!

Ay! Impressed ako! I hit the send button before I left the office at may dalawa agad response! Hmm! I think I made the right choice getting a Yaris and joining this forum! Salamat syntax and rye!

Well, am just waiting for the 6.30 salah and will hit the road for Toyota Dammam Showroom! Rye I have noted your checklist and so did with Syntax's. Hay, sa wakas for sure for the next 4 to 5 years wala akong sakit ng ulo at rehab muna ako sa Panadol in terms of repair and maintenance! The only problem I can see right now is how to get rid of my old Renault Laguna. Kakapanghinayang din kasi ac lang talaga ang problem and so does the price of a new compressor! Anyways, erase, erase erase ang nega! Focus muna ako sa baby ko!

Hello Mga Kuya Yaris! Nakuha ko na po ang aking baby! Naninibago po ako kasi maliit kesa sa Renault Laguna! I drove test the baby from Dammam Showroom to Al-Khobar via King Abdulaziz Highway then return to Dammam via Dhahran - Doha - Dammam! Feel cool driving the Yaris though medyo nabababaan ako sa upuan pero trivial lang iyon. Guess I would need a week to get used to it!

@rye - chineck ko po ang mga sinabi nyo, look fine naman like the power windows, mga ilaw, power doors, and all electrical related I could think of while I was at the showroom.

What intrigues me is this cap looking thing with Toyota Logo? Ano po at para saan ito?

^Not sure kung ano nga yan. Where exactly did you found it? Maybe the Toyota crews left it accidentally or just to make it sure ask them na lang din. Syntax and I are from Riyadh. Welcome ulit sa Yarisworld!
