Maybe you want to produce more than one design. Have more than one winner, then a vote on which hood should be made first.. idk

Well.... actually.. WE HAVE TWO WINNERS!
I couldn't decide between "flashy and aggressive" and "understated and classy", so we're making two hoods.

First, I want to say THANK YOU for everyone who participated, even just by commenting. With NINETY entries, it was not easy! I know a lot of the entries were very similar. I looked very carefully at them all, many times. I looked at placement front to back, side to side, everything. I really appreciate everyone's hard work on this. I wish I could make them all.

What I looked for was:

1. Originality -- doesn't look like another existing car's hood or another existing hood for the Yaris already in production.
2. Function -- does it work? Does air get moved in, or out, of the engine bay?
3. Overall look -- Would I want this on my car? Would it look good on all the Yaris colors?

So, we'll be producing two designs for the liftback, and possibly one for the sedans (read on). This will be a Limited Production design, which means we may or may NOT make more after the initial order. I will start an "interest/group buy" thread after this one.

Sedan owners, I will start another thread for you so we can discuss what to make for you. I am leaning towards a commitment of 5 customers to produce a sedan hood, so maybe we can start a Group Buy on that thread.

#1 and my favorite for "flashy and aggressive": THOMAS' Triple Vent:

#2 and my favorite for "classy and understated": CTScott forward-facing, recessed scoop:

More details to come, pricing, ETA, etc etc. We're just getting started!

atleast the cars with the good PS skills won. and good there is more than one winner. probably won't be picking one up! but i know a lot of people liked that second one! it's a mini version of the hoodscoops on the tacoma sports. i should know, i have one! ;)

The five Axis seems to be the remake of the late model Celica. Good choices Garm. Still gonna dremel out your CF hood lol?

darn that hack.. if i remember right .. i posted a picture of my representation of the "thomas" one on the second page of the original thread and the poster of that image stated it was a slight variation and better reprentation of the my post .. lol Murphy's law .. lol and i'm a murphy

what do you forsee these will cost?
