Hello,
I am from Germany. I would like to know where you got the service manual for the 1st gen yaris from? You posted a part of it here http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29617 I would like to have it too. Greetings Benjamin |

If pins are rusted and sealed, you can remove them following next steps. I will skip wheel removal and safety precautions.
1. Remove clips and connecting spring. 2. Release two 17mm bolts that hold caliper as one piece. Release them by 2mm. Use six angle spanner only. 3. Hammer them (17mm bolts) nice and easy. This way you will release nearer part of the caliper as well as those pins. If nothing happens, remove those bolts completely. 4. Again, nice and easy, hammer nearest part of the calliper to release those sealed pins, and then remove them using the puncher and hammer. This worked for me each time.
