Factory keyless entry on the L model? Yes!
I got the keys in picture from eBay and Techstream from Amazon with the cheap China cable. Everyone and everywhere says win10 will work but I had no luck. Used with win7 and had no issues. The panic button does work. Wanted it as a safety feature for my daughter which was the main reason for adding the keyless entry.

You don’t need to find a laptop with Win7, I loaded win7 on my win10 64bit laptop. I have dual boot now on it. I installed win7 32bit though.

Finally had a chance to order the parts and test it out and it worked! Granted my setup was a bit ghetto, b/c I lugged my desktop to the garage..lol.. Now my car has keyless! Thanks for all of the helpful info here and youtube!!
I had to poke around the program to find the key registration b/c I was getting some network error with a bunch of things in yellow with *. Now I get the TPMS light, but that's alright b/c I have aftermarket wheels w/o TPMS. Thanks again! |

i have techstream running on win 10 64bit 1903 no issue
tpms issue, go into the tpms registration in techstream and just change the ID's to the same as the 5th wheel aka the spare iirc that is all zeros with last number on each id being different take a screenshot before you change anything tho |

The cheap eBay cables usually won't program the TPMS for whatever reason. But Discount Tire will reset the system for free usually so... it's worth a shot.
