Yes, engine code is a must. It's sucks they quit making the Celica because it would also have drive by wire too if they still made it. Then that would be a damn sweet swap.

Looks like the 2ZR-FE, seems to be the first application of this engine, actually, and according to this is replaces the 1ZZ-FE:

I think E may have it right. However they need to quit putting the dinky versions in there. I mean come on. 1.8 liter with only like 130 hp? PUHLEASE! Come on Toyota. Celica had 1.8 and it made upwards of 180hp (190 in the Elise). Yaris would sell like hot cakes with that kind of power in this small of a package.

Jim,
Moet inderdaad zeggen dat de 1.8TS in Nederland heel wat beter is dan de 1.5 base in de USA. Great car. Ik ben Ron en woon in de US, Seattle. Ik heb in Dec 2006 de Yaris 1.5 gekocht. Hier in de USA kunnen wij geen TS modellen kopen. Dat is zwaar klote. Zoals je in mij garage kunt zien heb ik een aantal verandering gemaakt. Ik zal dit weekend een aantal extra fotos plaatsen. Ik heb de Yaris 35mm verlaagd. De Yaris rijdt nu een heel stuk beter. Het is goed om een Nederland in de YarisWorld te zien. Mazzel Jim. Hey guys, sorry for the Dutch writing. Later. Rwseattle. |
