I think that was part of the issue. Corolla is close enough in looks to the sedan. People think well, for a few grand more I can get bigger,with more stuff and mileage isnt that much different.

pretty funny how overseas the Vios does perfectly fine for sales and the Altis as well yet here there was sales issues. I have to wonder if the pricing gap is more overseas allowing them to coexist easier. Regardless the seating space to me in the sedan for the same gen is better in the Yaris than the Rolla.

I have been averaging 36.5 part city part highway putting roughly 40 miles a day on my 2012 SE. It gets almost twice the car I traded it for three years ago :-)
