For awhile I thought about just giving in and ordering - and everytime I get the itch, i read some post about how someone ordered something and waited weeks and never heard back or cant get any straight answers.Maybe a name brand kit with better customer service backing it up will show up eventually.

^im not gonna go the route of spending a good amount of change to have a car that in a year or so is gonna get a better motor option and be faster.....

To me - the car is an 07, I dont think they are going to add a whole new engine option within a single year of release - i can see them doing that when they change the body style a few years down the line - like they did with the xb which got a hp increase with the TC motor. But what will the yaris have a bigger motor with 140hp? I'd rather Turbo the yaris now, get more than 140 right now out of it rather than hope for a new engine option in the future - especially since if they do come out with a new packaged yaris - i'm def. not trading mine in for it - if this car gets traded in - its not going to be for another yaris...

09 the yaris will have an option for the scion xd motor along with an rs package. also if such package comes available my non power package, non split rear seat, non tach having, etc, etc, etc, yaris will be sitting in the certified used car section at my job.....

Yeah - by 09 - I probably wont be driving a yaris anymore. And if i still have it - i'd rather have it paid off with a turbo kit - that have it with a 140 or so hp xd motor in it - So heres hoping some companies get cracking on that R&D

^ do some research on that 130 horse motor. it seems to like being turbo-charged to the tune of around 160-170 horses.....

yeah - except, by 09 - my yaris will be paid off and i can just pick up a turbo kit and be done - and probably put out similar numbers..even zpi is doing it.
Or I can start from scratch - maybe trade this yaris in for the brand new 09 that will make similar numbers but will now have a voided warranty and sink me further in debt...to each his own on this situation Plus - you may have patience, but I dont like to wait - i want something right now, not in 09..I've already gone through 2 sets of wheels and i'm thinking about a different set already cause i get bored easy - I doubt i'd want to continue driving the same car for so many years..then trade it in for another

getting a little off track boys :)
I bought this car and don't plan to upgrade for a newer one in two years.. even if they come out with a faster, better model. I'd rather turbo/supercharge this one and keep it as long as I can :) |

Anyone knows differences between the Blitz and the Greddy SC's? Numbers anyone? If the Blitz xB retrofit wasn't that hard... a Greddy xB retrofit shouldn't be either, right?
POssible retrofits: At $2400 with the e-manage included doesn't look that bad... http://www.intensepower.com/gredtfturkit.html The Blitz xb $3,100 http://www.intensepower.com/blsukitxaxb.html and the PE xB ( heard good things about this one) $3,100 http://www.intensepower.com/poensukitxb.html Last edited by CASTREX; 09-04-2007 at 12:21 PM. |

I believe that the Blitz S/C kit also comes with a switch where u can turn it into High boost mode/ low boost mode / off mode? where as Greddy don't offer that. Can someone verify this with me??
