They do, but as tiksman proved (as noted in that thread) that can be easily remedied by swapping out the EEPROM that stores the milage info.

I don't beleive it will, the mounting tabs are in different positions, and the connector is different.

I would have expected there to be a different connector there or maybe a seperate one for the tach. There must be a way to swap clusters or add a tach to the USDM Liftback without going to some obnoxious monster tach.

There may be, if all the technical details of swapping the Canadian Cluster in can be overcome. It fits, plugs up, and functions properly... it's just that You'll of course see Km/H and the Odometer will show Kilometers, not miles.

That's fine for me. If you look on the Canadian speedo, it also reads in MPH under the Km/H.

Has anybody tried to make their own cluster using other guages? It would look cool if you set them in a piece of carbon fiber and mounted it in the stock location. I was thinking about it but cost and my lack of knowledge on how exactly they work is stopping me.

That too is a possibility, you just have to figure out what pins do what.

Did you get pricing yet?

Is that more aqua colored? It's hard to tell.

From someone at a UK Yaris board:

Actually I just learned that that's a photo of the old model Yaris. The new one is similar - I'm trying to get someone there to snap a photo for us.

According to the 'blokes' on that UK site, the British speedometer is meant to be viewed from the right. The left side passenger can't read it so it won't work in our cars. They suggested other European versions of the same cluster that are meant to be viewed from the left like the Netherlands.
