So here's my plan,

Clean (including rims) with Deep Crystal car wash and dry
Clay bar with Meg Quick Detail
Clean again with Gold Class and dry
Ultimate Compound
Wax with NXT 2.0 (only wax I have left)
Clean/wax rims with FW1
Tire dressing with Hot Shine

When you say clean again with gold class are you talking about the black bottle the wax? Or a cleaner wax.

I would do nxt 2.0 first and put gold class as a finishing layer

Ohh lol that makes more sense. I usually just use cleaner wax after claybar. Preps the paint for polish. Also removes stubborn residue.

hahahaha

Yeah, I don't want to spend too much on her car. It's already getting a better detail job than my car (well, my car doesn't need UC, but yeah). hahahha

Oh, also forgot to mention Scratch-X after UC if UC doesn't take care of everything. So I'm looking at at least 8 hours of detailing as I'll be doing everything by hand and by myself.

i would say more than 8 hours, clay bar alone takes FOREVER, on a car that has never been done before, i say that from a 10 year old 4runner (my dads) Paint is good, but man gritty. O btw, i find that Target of all places has cheaper Meguiar stuff, i got a kit of Crystal Wash/Quicker Detailer Spray/Nxt Wax 2.0/ Tire Foam/ Quik Glass Cleaner all for a low low 20 bucks!!!! o and clay bars are cheaper there too, (compared to my local Kragen)

It took me 6-7 hours to do my car. I'm taking on another hour or two for the UC. Watch it end up being three hours just for that tho. lol. Planning on starting after eating some breakfast (around 7 in the morning), and probably ending around 4-6pm depending on how many breaks I take.

Looks like I'll be going to Target to pick up some Tire Foam. Either that or be lazy and walk to the Super Wal-Mart next door to my mom's apartment. lol. Thanks for the heads up.

Armorall makes a good tire gel. Best product ive used so far that lasts. Gets really shiny after about 15 minutes.

I like Meg's Tire Foam or Stoner's since I notice that everything else (haven't tried Mother's tire products tho) turn the tires brown after a while.
