I was just trying to see if there was any interest in the Yaris world to begin with. If you guys have any questions, please post them here, and I'll definitely answer them to my best ability.

Thanks!
You said "There is a new company..."

Are you the company?
Are you representing the company? I ask because you were gauging interest but don't have the particulars.
Is this a group buy offer?
What is the name of the company?
Are they located in the USA or outside the country?
If outside of the USA what is the country of the company and manufacturer of the products?

I'd be interested if the kit would work in conjunction with my sedans ABS system. Surely parts from another Yota or Scion could be utilized. Lot's of upscale Yaris exist overseas.

Whoa whoa... I am just now reading this.. You mean to tell me that I can go to a parts store, ask for reman calipers, pads and rotors off a xD and they will bolt right up, no clearance issues? Maybe just go ahead an get some Hawk pads also...

What year corolla are the better to use?

Easy easy!!! As Enviri said Yaris SE discs all the rest are 5 lugs... Corolla 09+ up is what you need, mine are 2011 and for clearance you can still run 15"

09 corolla rotors and calipers will just bolt up?
Does the master cylinder require a change?
I have an 07 with 15" wheels, this tempts me.
Is there a parts number list to do this conversion?
Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a good spring time project.

calipers just bolt up. YOU HAVE TO GET YARIS SE FRONT ROTORS. master cyl no need to change. the piston driving the pads are marginally larger than stock.

**as of 2011**

Scion XD Calipers USED: ~100$ off ebay; ~165$ on rock auto (semi-loaded caliper) (toyo part# 47730‑12A10|47731‑12A10)
2012 Yaris SE rotors (toyota part# 43512-52130): ~105$ ea (msrp)
Napa Adaptive ONE pads w/ shims for Scion XD: 57$ (cheaper than buying shims and pad seperately, plus these pads are very HQ)

we're going to re-use the clips off the yaris' caliper. They are the same part #.

btw the rear calipers, according to my PR ppl in various toyo dealers around here (lol) corolla XRS 09ish rear calipers should be the same, as the pads are the same too. get the ebrake lines from that car too if you can, or find another toyota with caliper ebrake..you now need to make a bracket+rear hub spacer for calipers, then seperate teh hub from the drum assembly and you finished your rear disc setup, ragnacat. :)

I'm having a hard time understanding how the OEM parts go together. The parts diagrams from Village Toyota include the SE, but they don't show a full assembly of the caliper and mounting bracket. The beams are very different, as well. Is there another part on a different diagram that I'm missing?

good man! finally my idea is taking shape after yrs :) can you show the mount of the caliper to hub? can you get the ebrake cable from the car too? it really isnt hard to harvest it. it might be longer, but im sure you can cut it to size.

yes.

edit: i found the part numbers for the Ebrake lines.

vitz RS NCP91- 46420-52161 and 46430-52161

vitz RS/Yaris SE NCP131- 46420-52370 & 46430-52360

XB2 part numbers: 46420-12730 & 46430-12620...seems the lines are pretty damn affordable.

Maybe I'm just lost within scripture, and maybe this is completely out there, but essentially, couldn't you just get the SE model RDB and hook it up to any yaris? Are they not direct bolt on?
