even if he did have emisson tests it should pass since the cat is there and the o2 sensors are in place.

EDIT: 40 series? scary...i woulda prolly gone with a 60 series...
can not fit a 60 series up under a LB I had to use a 40 series made for mustang (which is only 13 inches) instead.... a 60 probibly will work on a sedan, but there is no room on the LB

I plan on either going catless or highflow cats WAY b4 90k miles, but thanks for the tip.... I have had quite a few custom exhaust b4 as well

Very nice! I laugh my ass off when I see these ricers pass me on the hiway and they have like 6" of can sticking out from under the car or they have this big long can sticking out from under the car diagonal like they just shoved it up there any way it'd fit. Yours is a nice clean job. Congrats! Now screw the ozone layer and let that thing sing!

The tips remind me of those 15 dollar mufflers that you get at Pep boys...

Nice looking exhaust! I'm going for something pretty similar to that. I have a Dynomax turbo muffler waiting in my garage. Why expend $300-$400 on a brand muffler when you can get a full and superior set up by less!

I was thinking on a 2" pipe instead of the 2.25"... afraid of that loss in low end Tq. that every one talkes about... but you said that opening up from 2" up to 2.25" made a difference. How big of a diff? I'm staying N/A so my tought was that 2" would be optimal. Did you feel the lost at the low end?
