That happened to me the morning after I drove it back from the dealership!!

Boy, seems to me from reading all these posts that the clutch could use a little adjustment at manufacturing. Won't make me trade in my Yaris just yet but clearly, there is room for improvement here. Mr. Toyota, are you listening?

Okay, I've only had mine about two weeks, and already stalled it more than any other manual I've ever driven (and I'm freakin old). I tend to blame it on that fancy electronic throttle. That's more palatable than blaming myself.

Computers make our lives easier.

I have not experienced the key cycle thing - just clutch, key, overrev (compensation), slip-n-go.

Around here, if it aint a truck, it's a target.

Maybe your mat is a little to thick and you don't go all the way down to the floor. With my manual Yaris, if I was at 1 cm from teh floor, it wouldn't start, I had to be really low.
