you should open up a "Tiny's C-one replica fixer upper" side business
again, excellent job!
I would be willing to pay you to have this done! now that you have gotten down the "process" and all

Wow that looks awesome! It definitely takes a lot of patience to work with Bondo...looks like you definitely took your time and the results look great! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this painted.

i was thinking of trying to find some blue weave fabric .. it would be awesome to have a blue weave that matches the car. It would make things much easier on making it smooth to just overlay and poly it.

i've never messed with doing overlays. but i'd be up for the challenge :)

Here's some blue cloth that looks like a decent color match:

i'll be picking up my custom matched cans of paint on saturday :)

the guy is mixing up cans that already have the clear coat in it so i can do a one step and be good to go :) I might still pick up a can of clear just for kicks to to a second coat to seal it .but we should be good to go. I'll be able to do up my side skirts too :)

That blue weave would look good, I think. So yeah. Stay away from the black hood! ;)
(mostly because I'm thinking of a black hood on my Blazing Blue!) LOL
Nah, go for either one.
keep us updated please

the big unveiling!!! I have to do a TON of polishing on it to get it to sheen.. but right now its kind of an odd near shinny look. i might clay bar it and see if that makes a difference.

anywho.. it looks awesome.

skirts are painted too .. but i dont have the funds for tape today :) maybe tomorrow :)

Looks good! You'll have to shoot more pics when the sun comes back to visit tomorrow.

yeah the side skirts still look a shade too light :( chances are the hood will look odd too.. the hood definately looks like a flat color for some reason even though when test spraying there was a nice gloss to the paint. i'll have to work on getting a shine out of it .. lots of wax and 0000 steel wool :) maybe a clay bar too see if that helps.

if not .. gloss black they will go lol

Bad Idea. Just get some agressive rubbing compound and a rotary.
