Lol, yeah I was going through some threads I wrote in a while back and I saw that no one had replied to you yet. I hate it when people don't answer my questions, so this is my way of working with karma
But yeah, the most amount of play you'll have is with the headers. Some improve the power more at the lower end of the rpm band, some at the middle, some at the top. The DME header is best, imo, for just spirited around-town driving. It's pricier than most, but not by much. Cheers! Always eager to help out fellow Yaris owners - especially ones that like the new iQ (I'm buying that as soon as the first-year bugs are out ) |

Custom work done locally here in St Pete. Stainless steel, mandrel bent, 2.0 inch piping. Magnaflow muffler.
When I get a chance I'll take some better pics and a vid clip or two. - The Spectacle |

This may be the most retarded question but does the 5 door and the 3 door have the same exhaust? Like if I bought a exhaust labeled 3 door, will it fit my 5? Some times I feel so dumb haha

2" is small...I personally would've gone with 2.25" for NA application. It will help with low to mid range power.

so why not go with 1.5"...2.25" is the perfect size for NA applications. Anything bigger is for more peak horse power.

Well, it will be louder and slower. So maybe just not the difference you're looking for. I certainly wasn't. |

Well, if the stock exhaust diameter is 1.75" then the extra .5" would make a difference.
Did you see a difference in going from 1.75" to 2.00"? That's only a .25" difference. |

There is a significant difference in only 0.25".
2" pipe is 3.14in/sq area 2.25" pipe is 3.97in/sq area That's a 26.4% increase in flow capacity going from 2" to 2.25". Sounds like 26% would make some sort of difference to me. |
