Bring the following:

food and water (there are no vending machines)

blue painter masking tape to tape your numbers on (I have some)

a tote box to hold all the loose stuff you have to take out of your car

spectators can watch for free

you'll have to pay the $15 for a weekend membership to SCCA

the $15 can be used towards an annual membership

make sure your helmet meets their requirements... go to www.solo2.com

Before you leave home, empty your car of all your junk. Loose stuff cannot be in the car during the race.

I also bring two large plastic tote boxes to store stuff like extra clothing, the tape, that I store stuff in. Those boxes stay in the parking lot while we're running. It's safe, nobody wants your stuff. Also, the tote boxes will protect your stuff from the rain.

I like to wear gloves when I drive. $15 Mechanix gloves from Pep Boys.

Wasn't sure if we were meeting at the track, or rolling in together. Got it now.

^ You have an advantage -- you're a good driver.

7am to meet up seems late. Tech starts at 7am and you're supposed to have numbers and letters on the car already?

Whatcha say Long?

7:00 should work. Earlier would be necessary if we ran in the first group. We run in the third group.

We just need to register. We can tech our cars then, time permitting, or we can tech while the second group runs. First race starts at 9:00. Bring your receipt if you pre-paid. Just in case.

Schedule
------------
7:00am - Tech / registration open for the 1st and 3rd run groups only

7:00am - Course open for walking

7:45am - Novice course walk

8:00am - Tech / registration open for morning run groups only

8:30am - Course closes for walking.

8:45am - Call for workers, cars to pre-grid

9:00am - First car out
