I went to the local Toyota Dealership (120 mile round trip) and they quoted me at 300-350 to paint the parts the same Jade Sea Metallic as my exterior paint...but that is the dealer....they also warrantied their work for 5 years. I have not come up with the coin yet for it however.

so if someone were to try this, and ruin the paint, ie. too much paint on EVERYTYHING, what would that someone have to do to remove the paint and try again? time MAY be a factor on this one....

How well does the paint job hold up now that it has been some time since many of you brave souls tried this?

I took all the plastics apart and I'm painting the upper plastic, but I can't figure out how to get the a/c, etc. knobs apart from the plastic. Help would be appreciated.
