Chino jumped ship in a snit in 2009. Removed everything he ever created, leaving us with several useless threads. But, as has been mentioned, post#71 contains a new link.

The new version has an extra bracket to move the cables over as well. Mazilla posted a DIY with pictures on here recently. TRD has them, and I will have our version available very soon.
/topic As for the above comment, for the record, Chino had good reason to do what he did, and he wasn't alone. At least include enough of the story so people understand and can make up their own minds, instead of just trying to make him look bad.

Thanks guys.
Also I notice there are 4 different shifter additions, the bushing kit, engine bay kit, and 2 cabin kits, do you need to have all four? I was thinking of grabbing the in-cabin short shifter kit but I don't want the car to feel off-balance since it's missing the other three. Last edited by limey163; 06-30-2011 at 01:56 PM. |

the bushing kit just stifens up the feel (takes out the slop) and for the under hood vs the in cabin kit, you can have one or the other or both. I think they both reduce throw buy around 25% or so. some people go really extreme and do both to reduce throw by about 50%
I honestly am going for the under hood kit because it is easier. I hope to make a youtube vid of my install. at the same time, it may be a while since i don't even have it yet (and it isn't available just yet either) |
